The report:

To fulfill the annual activity for 8 PISMP TESL, the Language Department has decided to join “ Simposium Pendidikan Bahasa Peringkat Kebangsaan” at IPGK Ipoh. The theme of the symposium was “Research and Innovation Drives Transformation of Education in the 21st Century”.

 

The objectives to attend the symposium were to:

 1) Expose the teacher trainees on the importance of intellectual and academic

2) Engage in research.

3) To present the results of research and innovation action at the national level.

 

38 teacher trainees from 8 PISMP TESL 1 and 2 took part in the event. Other than that, there were ten participants from other majors were invited and joined the symposium, as they were taking Chinese Language as their elective course. Five teacher trainees from 8 PISMP TESL 1 and 2 contributed their  findings from their research during poster presentations session.
