Summary of activity :

This activity is part of the evaluation for LGA3043 Plays and Drama for Young Learners. 24 semester 5 PISMP students took part in the performances. The objectives for the performance are for them to be able to:

• demonstrate an understanding of the features and types  of children’s play and drama.

• devise and implement activities and strategies to develop children’s  language use and aesthetic values through drama based on theatrical and drama techniques.

• plan and perform children’s drama using the principles of script writing and stage craft

• review and reflect on the use of children’s drama in the language classroom.

The dramas performed were Mahsuri, The Boy who Cried Wolf, The Three Little Pigs, The Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White.
