Rules for Public Speaking Competition for NON-TESLians 2021

1.    Every contestant is given 5 minutes for the public speaking video presentation.
2.    Each contestant has to introduce himself/ herself with his/her topic before starting the speech.
3.    There must be at least 3 points relevant to the topic given in the speech.
4.    The topic for the public speaking competition - Theme: Life after Covid 19
5.    The public speaking video needs to be uploaded on YouTube.
6.    The contestants need to fill in the submission form for the competition via the Google Form provided at this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe-b4wcfUyGRcHQzEfiAQmZKacX3XaJy-YBhc2j4MPoqeBMog/viewform after the video has been uploaded on YouTube.
* The form is meant to get the contestant’s details and the link for video that has been uploaded on YouTube.

7.    The deadline for submission is on 12th March 2021 at 11.59 p.m. The video is considered forfeited if the participants:
i)    Do not upload the public speaking video on YouTube before the deadline,
ii)    Do not fill in and submit the submission form via Google Form provided before the deadline.

8.    The judging criteria for the public speaking competition are based on the following aspects:
a) content
b) language
c) pronunciation
d) creativity
e) general demeanour
